Research context

This item is a blend combining two distinct synthetic peptides: BPC-157, a 15-amino-acid pentadecapeptide derived from a gastric-juice protein sequence, and TB-500, the synthetic 43-amino-acid Thymosin Beta-4 peptide that functions as a G-actin-sequestering molecule. In vitro and in animal models the two components have been studied separately, with BPC-157 associated in the literature with angiogenic and nitric-oxide-related signaling and TB-500 with actin dynamics and cytoskeletal regulation.

Research on the individual components in isolated cell systems and rodent models has examined pathways including VEGFR2 and FAK-paxillin-related cell migration for BPC-157 and actin-monomer sequestration and cytoskeletal remodeling for TB-500.
